Payroll Officer

Payroll services for Goldendale School District have been managed under the direction of Michelle Watson, Payroll Officer. 

The primary function of the Payroll Officer is to ensure that payroll is complete, accurate and available to regular staff and all substitutes by the last working day of each month. Other payroll related duties include processing payroll documentation according to state auditing requirements, processing all new and/or retiring employee documents, working with vendor representatives for various plans, organizing employee insurance programs, coordinating workers' compensation and safety issues and tracking leave requests. Various annual payroll duties include processing W-2's, managing the sick leave buy-back program and coordinating the supplemental plan open enrollments.
