With Valentine's Day approaching, the Transportation Department would like to remind all parents and students that per WAC 392-145-021 certain items are not allowed to be transported on the school bus. This includes but is not limited to balloons, breakable containers (such as glass vases) and plants. These items can cause safety concerns for the driver and passengers (allergies, broken glass, driver distraction, etc.) and are therefore not allowed.
